Podcast: Letting Joy Source our Choices – Video Games

In this episode, we discuss ways we are choosing to spend our time during this ‘global pause’ – whether it be learning new things or playing video games or creating some new venture …

What brings us joy?

Are we letting joy source how we choose to spend our time or are we anxiously waiting for the pandemic to be over, fearful that we’ve fallen behind or desperately trying to stay relevant based on our past reference – our perception of success based on achievement and production.
Can something like play video games for the joy of it teach us a way of being in the so-called normal activities of our daily life?

Are we willing to be wrong about our judgments or assessments so we can be present and we can learn?
Can we see that each moment, each circumstance and situation bears a gift if we’re open to receiving and participating?

Whatever sparks joy also invites presence and leaning into it is a way of meditation our lives. Living joyously yummy!

What’s your flip-switch mechanism to return to presence?
